When I contacted Imperitiv about upgrading to office 365, I was hosting my own email and webpage on my own server. It was costly from an IT perspective and the sever was due to be replaced. That is when Imperitiv suggested that I use 365 and there would be NO need for a server because all my data and hosting lives in the cloud with Microsoft. I have never been more pleased with the operation. The cost is a fraction of what it was costing me in IT to maintain and have a sever monitored. To use the cliché – “it’s a no brainer”. We’re very happy with Imperitiv.

Imperitiv is also there 24/7. If I want to add, change or drop a mail account; it happens as soon as I email them. They’re also happy to help set up accounts and trouble shoot any issues I have had. I have been in business for 23 years and wish this was around when I started. I would have saved thousands.

Cheaper isn’t always better. You have quick response times for questions. The monitoring “portal” is good for quick and concise access to any information that may be needed. You have also never made us feel that we “should” upgrade any licenses just to make more money. You have only sold us what we need and when we removed some unnecessary license, it was not a problem.

There are certain things that we would never think to look at or understand that you can help us with. With technology today, there are constant threats that IT professionals need to be involved in to help our type of business. For us, not needing to replace a server every few years, CALs, Server Updates, Backups, A/V software and all the overhead involved is money well spent. We also don’t need to worry if corporate goes offline. Email will still be available in the cloud. SharePoint, as a file server/storage, also makes everything available all the time from anywhere in the world and from pretty much any device.

I am a strong believer that you get what you pay for, and as a company who does not have a dedicated IT Department, I knew that I would need someone who could walk us through installing and setting up our purchase and also help us troubleshoot any issues that might arise. Regarding the price of Imperitiv services, I am completely satisfied with the value. I thought that the initial migration fee was a steal given the time and care you took making sure our data got migrated successfully. I probably asked more questions than most, but they were always willing to take my call and answer my questions. The small monthly fee per user is well worth it as well. It's nice to know that if there are any issues with our service, I always have someone to call who will give me a quick response and answer my questions or fix a problem.

As far as Imperitiv maintaining our backups, security, and overall network I am very happy with their service. When I picked Imperitiv to handle our email I didn't have a lot to go on. Microsoft recommended them as a trusted partner along with a couple other companies. I did some research of my own. After comparing several companies, I decided on Imperitiv. This was an important choice considering the importance of keeping our email safe and secure. After using their service for the better part of a year I know I made the right choice.

I can’t speak to another company's situation, but for us this plan was a great way to get access to the Outlook function without getting the whole suite. Some other plans we looked at offering competitive prices for Outlook only ended up costing more because it included various features (i.e., Skype for Business, etc.) which we didn’t need at additional cost. In addition to price, the main thing we were interested in was response time and customer service. Sometimes you have passionate sellers that go silent after a purchase is finalized, but that wasn’t the case with Imperitiv. Initially we had some concerns, but communication throughout the set up process was very fluid. Imperitiv was on top of all the issues that we addressed about our previous provider. Despite the complications on our end by being in multiple locations with different systems, they were extremely willing and available to handle all our issues in a very professional manner.

Monitoring and data security is one of those issues that you never consider until something goes wrong. It’s often too late once that happens. We had a small issue last year where it appeared that a third party attempted to access one of the email accounts. We do not have an on-site IT staff, so it was very beneficial to work with Imperitiv in understanding what was or wasn’t breached. Also, they was able to explain in plain English what should be done to prevent a similar event from happening in the future. Considering the amount of information in cloud folders and email accounts, having a system that is able to verify when and from where an account was accessed is very helpful in maintaining security of accounts.

Imperitiv does offer a competitive rate, but price is only one consideration in choosing an IT solution. You also need to consider service, support and experience. We have been using Imperitiv’s Office 365 solution for around 3 years and have been completely satisfied with their performance. My main contact at Imperitiv has always been quick to responded to my inquiries/questions. Whether it was a small issue or a work stoppage issue, he was there to support us. We use a third-party vendor for our online sales and domain hosting solutions and recently had an issue with our emails being rejected by our clients. Imperitiv was able to find the cause of the issue and recommend the necessary changes required. Imperitiv even offered to make the necessary changes to our third-party solutions. Imperative does not just support the products they offer; they support their clients.

I am a Software Engineer with about 20 years’ experience and some IT knowledge, but I am no IT expert. There are a lot of threats and “gotcha’s” out in the web world. In my past, I have always worked for companies that had IT shops in house. At my present job, we do not have an expert IT shop in house. Because of this we rely heavily on Imperitiv to make sure that our online presence is secured and safe, since they are the experts in IT.

For us, price is important but not the only driving factor. For 20 years we ran our own datacenter. Hardware replacement costs and systems management can be a huge cost drain for a small company. Also, security management and mitigation costs have grown dramatically in the past 5 years. By moving our team to Office 365 and our IT systems into the Azure cloud we have expanded our ability to collaborate and raised our productivity. Azure has helped contain our IT costs and eliminated the need for costly hardware while allowing us the option to “turn-up” our hardware capabilities as needed. Finally, the world-class security and monitoring of Microsoft’s Azure and O365 teams limits our company’s exposure to service failures and costly data breaches. That alone is worth the small premium vs a roll-your-own solution.

All that aside, what really continues to keep us engaged with Imperitiv is the knowledgeable, highly responsive customer service. Imperitiv has been there whenever we have questions. After-hours, weekends, holidays, we can always get guidance. Let’s face it Microsoft’s services can be complex to deploy and administer but the Imperitiv team has always been available to help us figure it out or simply do the tasks when we don’t otherwise have the time or desire to get our hands dirty.

You do truly get what you pay for in this market. Imperitiv has the knowledge and experience to handle our IT needs. They have always been very responsive to our needs and they go the extra mile to handle situations. If they are not directly involved in a problem, they will educate you and give you direction on what you need another party to do to rectify the situation. Our experience with Imperitiv has been very positive. They speak language you can understand and do not get too tech speak for you to understand. We like having a primary person handle all of our licensing, system needs and helping us keep everything on track with our Microsoft products. I came from a large company that had an IT department and now own a smaller startup. I was dreading the IT portion of the company but finding Imperitiv was a game changer for our company. I too had to weed through several companies, but once I spoke to Imperitiv, I knew they were it.

Imperitiv handles our monitoring of the IT products and systems. It is a piece of mind to know we are protected the best we can be from viruses, cyber-attacks, spam and down time. This service alone is worth the price of the program. I know a lot of companies do not give this much attention, but it is crucial to any company that handles a client’s private information; including payment information. If they do not have this service, they should make sure they have very high limits on their cyber insurance policy. These IT threats are not going away, they are evolving and are a major threat to any company doing business and utilizing computers in any compacity. Some companies hire an employee to handle this in house, but you need someone who is on top of the latest developments at all times and the expertise to handle these threats. One attack can destroy a business. We are not willing to gamble our business future on these threats.

Hope is not a plan. Companies that hope it does not happen to them, will regret the decision when crisis hits. I would add we are in the insurance industry and continue to see Cyber claims on the rise. This is reality.

I have found Imperitiv to be a true business partner. Although they are experts in this field, they have patiently listened to me try to explain my challenges in “non-expert” lingo. They understand and fix my problems with one simple email or phone call. Most of my questions are handled immediately, but occasionally the correction may take a few minutes of time. In these cases, they schedule time, show up to the virtual meeting timely and compete the work in the scheduled amount of time. I have not worked with an IT support company in the past with better customer service or product knowledge. I started my little company with just one additional employee. We have grown since then and Imperitiv’s fee structure has scaled with us. It’s easy to budget costs when hiring because of the transparency and predictability in this area.

As I mentioned, Imperitiv is my outsourced IT department. They treat my small system as if it were as important as that found in a large corporation. Imperative has put into place the security measures necessary to keep my data safe and secure. I have not needed to spend valuable time researching best practices or products in this area and have been able to focus on my own clients. In the two and a half years I have been working with them, my system has never been down, I have never lost data, nor have I experienced a virus or cyber-attack. I couldn’t ask for more!

I’ve done things like this on the cheap before, either using a low’balling third-party service or by trying to handle it myself. BOTH are WAY MORE expensive than what Imperitiv has done for us. How can I say that? #1) cost of ineptitude = it’s a nightmare when you go for the lower bidding contractor of any industry: they end up cutting corners somewhere, and you usually don’t realize that until it’s far too late to do anything about it, let alone get them to fix it (they’re most often long-gone and unreachable . . . suddenly and mysteriously). #2) cost of opportunity = me fumbling around attempting to patch errors, correct problems, retrieve data, understand the system back-end, etc. takes me away from developing better internal business operating systems, training and retraining staff, and marketing to obtain new business clientele or develop new markets.

People in business, myself included, tend to think/believe that they can do everything and that no one else can do it, especially within their business operations, as good or as securely as they themselves can. This can be true, but when you find someone like Imperitiv, who has both technological expertise and personal integrity combined with the ability to communicate in laymen’s terms . . . it’s magical! It’s been worth every single penny for us to have peace of mind regarding our data integrity and continuity, and always be able to quickly and completely recover data when we had a problem or glitch. (Yes, that happens . . . data systems aren’t infallible). We have a BUSINESS to run; and that business is not DATA.

Our previous IT company had a flat rate that seemed reasonable until we needed assistance. When they were able to schedule us in, we were charged in hourly increments for the technician’s time, and since we had a different technician nearly every time we had to pay to get the person up to speed on our system before he or she could be of help. The IT company we had hired had separate departments to handle our server issues and email issues, so we ended up getting bounced around to different techs depending on the problem we were facing. Our email continued to be incredibly slow, and the IT company could not resolve the issue to our employees’ satisfaction. After months of struggling with the impacted productivity and employee frustration, we became fed up and called Microsoft for a solution. Microsoft found us Imperitiv.

Imperitiv went above and beyond setting up our office 365 suite for a very reasonable price. They looked at our servers and our entire system and suggested methods to improve, and in very short order had everything functioning excellently together. When we wanted to update our technology with a new server, Imperitiv helped us with specifications for the new server and migrated our old Window Server 2008 onto a new server with Windows Server 2016. The process was quick and accomplished over night and on a weekend when our company was closed. Whenever something has needed attention, day or night, Imperitiv has been there. Whenever we experienced a problem, they respond almost immediately, day or night, and never left us stranded without email or our server as other companies have done to us in the past. We have paid far less with Imperative since they understand exactly how our systems operate – since they helped set them up – so we are not paying for whatever tech got assigned our work order to get up to speed in order to help us like we were with our past IT company.

We have now been using Imperitiv for a few years and have had very few of the problems we used to experience before we had a company that monitored our servers and assisted with backups. Imperitiv often spots problems before we know we have them. In the past, before we found Imperitiv, we were once left without email for several days due to a hack at our then-email hosting company, and one year an employee clicked on a link that infected our server with a virus that led to the server needing to be completely rebuilt. Our firm spent several thousand dollars to rebuild our server and lost numerous billable hours, and hours of employee productivity when we were without email and server access. With the redundant system that Imperitiv installed for a very reasonable price it is highly unlikely we will be successfully targeted again, and if something did happen, we would not be out of commission for any length of time. Imperitiv’s monitoring program has, I am sure, stopped attacks and threats we never learned of as our system runs smoothly and we haven’t had any viruses or cyber-attacks since we hired Imperitiv.

We are a small company with very specific needs, but a small staff. It was hard for us to find a service that worked for us. We had tried other options in the past, which never really worked out. Working with Imperitiv has been fantastic, we explained exactly what we needed for our business and they got us up and running quickly. A very smooth transition. They handle our email accounts and domain name and also our Office 365 subscription. Since we have been working with Imperitiv, if we needed to change anything, they answer and make the changes.

We get all of our business by competitive bid, so we strive to keep our overhead low, but we would not ever want to sacrifice on our IT Provider as all of our bids are done over the internet these days.
